Crowns and Bridges

What Are Crowns?

Crowns are restorations that are used to improve a tooth’s shape and/or strengthen a tooth. Crowns are most often used for teeth that are broken, worn, have portions damaged by tooth decay, or have been determined by the dentist to be too compromised to be restored with another filling.

Why Are They Important?

Crowns cover the tooth completely and, with modern materials and techniques, have a very realistic appearance. Crowns can whiten, reshape and realign existing teeth, adding to a bright, healthy smile.

Bridges

Missing teeth can be replaced with good results using fixed bridges that are cemented on supporting teeth for a natural feel and appearance. Not only will the bridge complete your smile but it will also stabilize the jaw so remaining teeth don’t shift position.
